Tanzania – The greatest show on earth
Tanzania is the largest country in East Africa with two capitals.
Over 30% of the country is made up of national parks. It is home to the largest volcanic crater, Ngorongoro , and Africa’s largest mountain, Kilimanjaro. Tanzania has a population of 68 million and is made up of 12 ethnic groups. On this tour, we take a look at the best that Tanzania has to offer.
The Great Animal Migration , which takes place every year in the Serengeti, is one of nature’s greatest wonders, with millions of wildebeest, zebras and antelope crossing the savannah, facing the dangers of predators, creating spectacular scenes that are an indispensable part of the safari experience.
Serengeti – named the best safari park six times.
Home to the Great Migration, the park with the largest population of animals and endless plains and savannas.
Ndutu – in this region in February and March there are herds of the Great Migration and we witness a spectacle where up to 8 thousand young wildebeest and zebras are born on a daily basis.
Ngorongoro Crater – a crater ecosystem bounded by mountains with the highest density of animals in the world.
Safaris in Tanzania are not cheap. Daily admission to the Serengeti is $82 + an additional $70 if your accommodation is within a national park. This is essential when exploring the Serengeti, because in this case you don’t waste time getting to the park.
Just passing through the Ngorongoro crater is charged $70 per person, and an additional $300 for each car that wants to access the crater. It is one of the best and most visited parks in the world.
The campsites and lodges in the Serengeti where we stay are authentic, without fences and located inside the park, where the animals move unhindered.
On this tour, we will visit four national parks and Kilimanjaro.
There will be 11 safaris in 6 days.

VISA:
Citizens of Serbia, Croatia and Montenegro, Slovenia and Bosnia and Herzegovina can easily obtain a visa for Tanzania upon arrival at the airport (visa on arrival).
The visa is issued directly upon landing at one of Tanzania’s international airports. The cost of a tourist visa is $50 per person and is paid in cash (usually in dollars).
The visa is issued for a period of up to 30 days.
No special documentation is required to obtain a visa other than a valid passport (it must be valid for at least 6 months from the date of entry into the country).
Nutrition:
Tanzanian cuisine is made up of traditional and modern cooking styles.
The food we eat is mostly adapted to European cuisine.
Dressing:
We advise you to wear clothes in shades of green, brown and beige.
Bring a pair of sweatshirts, sweatpants or similar clothes as mornings and evenings can be a little fresher.
Avoid blue and black clothing as it attracts insects.
Internet and telephony:
Mobile telephony in Tanzania supports roaming for SIM cards from Serbia.
Domestic SIM cards can be easily obtained with a passport when shopping.
Other notes:
If you want to take pictures of locals, always ask for permission beforehand.

Plan and Program

Day 1 - Gathering of the group and departure
We meet at Belgrade Airport from where we fly to Kilimanjaro International Airport. We land in Tanzania where our guide is waiting for us and we go to the accommodation.
Passengers who choose to fly from Budapest, Zagreb or another city to Tanzania come by a different route, but we are all at Kilimanjaro International Airport.
Day 2 - Arusha and the Road to the Serengeti
We will wake up at the accommodation in Arusha, where we will have breakfast and a short rest before departure. After breakfast, we will prepare for the adventure and depart for the Serengeti National Park.
In the afternoon we arrive at the accommodation located on the slopes of the Ngorongoro crater, in a place located just before the entrance to the park itself.
Day 3 - Ngorongoro Crater and Central Serengeti
We woke up early and at 6 a.m. we entered the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. We go down to the crater, where we will have a safari lasting about 5 hours. During the drive through the crater, we will take a break for breakfast in nature, surrounded by wild animals.
Around 12:00 we leave the crater and continue our journey to the central Serengeti. Along the way, we enjoy another safari, which lasts until the evening hours.
Upon arrival at the campsite, we check in and settle in at our base for the next three days, ready for new unforgettable experiences in the heart of the Serengeti.
The accommodation is located in the central part of the Serengeti and is completely fence-free, which means that wild animals move freely within the campsite itself. This unique location allows for an authentic safari experience, with animals that you can observe up close, directly from your accommodation.
Dan 4 – Serengeti full day Safari
We get up at 5:30 a.m., and after breakfast we set off on a new safari adventure. Because we are located in the heart of the Serengeti, where wild animals roam freely around the campsite, we are always accompanied by staff from the room to the main tent and restaurant, for our safety. Remember, here you are in a real wilderness, where nature is all around you, authentic and untouched.
A full day drive through the Serengeti, a park that has been considered the best national park in Africa for years. And for good reason! During the day, we take a break for lunch at a specially chosen location in nature.
We return to the accommodation in the evening, and after dinner we relax by the fire, exchanging impressions and enjoying the sounds of wild animals.
Dan 5 – Serengeti full day Safari
We get up at 5:30 a.m., and after breakfast we set off on a new safari adventure.
This is followed by another full day ride through the Serengeti.During the day, we take a break for lunch at a specially chosen location in nature.
We return to the accommodation in the evening, and after dinner we relax by the fire, exchanging impressions and enjoying the sounds of wild animals.
Day 6 – Serengeti & Ndutu
Get ready for a full-day adventure through the world’s most famous safari park, the Serengeti, and its southern region of Ndutu.
We spend the morning in the central Serengeti, looking for lions, elephants, leopards and many other predators in the savannah.
Then we head towards the Ndutu region, a ride that is a safari in itself, because there are incredible opportunities for sightseeing during it. After lunch in nature, we arrive in the Ndutu region.
Ndutu is located between the crater Ngorongoro and the plains of the Serengeti, in northern Tanzania. Every year, between February and March, more than one and a half million wildebeest and zebras gather on these vast plains to give birth. A staggering 8,000 cubs are born every day, creating a sight that is rarely seen anywhere.
This natural event attracts numerous predators, making Ndutu one of the best places to observe big cats, such as lions, cheetahs, and leopards.
Dan 7 – Ndutu full day Safari
This day is reserved for a full-day safari in the Ndutu region.
At this time of year, the herds of the Great Migration are located right here, where thousands of cubs are born every year. We will spend the whole day in their company, following this unique natural phenomenon, a real highlight of our trip.
Ndutu is known as one of the best places to watch the birth of cubs and the activities of predators that accompany them. We will witness incredible scenes of mothers taking care of their young, but also hunting lions, cheetahs and other big cats that have an abundance of prey during this period.
This day brings the opportunity to experience the true wilderness of Africa in its most authentic form, a savannah filled with life, movement and excitement.
Day 8 – Ndutu & the road to Arusha
Day 9 – Visit to Kilimanjaro and departure to the airport
Arusha is our base for all activities related to Kilimanjaro.
After a vacation in Arusha, an optional trip to the foot of Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest mountain, is planned.
You can also choose other optional excursions such as a tour of the Materuni Waterfall, a visit to a traditional village, relaxation in the thermal springs of Chemka Hot Springs or a Coffee Tour, where you will get to know the whole process of making Tanzanian coffee.
This part of the road is perfect for relaxing and getting to know one of the most emblematic places in Tanzania, before continuing towards the airport.
Day 1o – Homecoming
We will land in Belgrade in the afternoon, full of impressions from one of the most beautiful trips in Africa!
