This is a safari expedition that redefines the concept of African safari. Through this program, for the first time in our region, we are opening the door to the world’s most sought-after safari route, the search for the black (melanistic) leopard, the famous Giza. We aim to ensure access to this rare phenomenon, adhering to the highest standards of wilderness, without compromising on expertise and logistics.

Northern Kenya is a completely different ecosystem compared to the traditional, southern routes. Its most famous parts, Laikipia and Samburu, which offer a different safari experience. While some other famous parks are often crowded with vehicles, here there is peace and the wilderness is non-commercialized.

Expedition Standard: Intimacy and Expertise

To ensure unhindered access to the wilderness and maximum dedication, logistics are strictly controlled:

• Small groups
  There will be only two jeeps on our tour, with a maximum of 5 passengers per vehicle.

• Top team
  Each vehicle is accompanied by a team of three, a professional driver, our private guide and a local ranger.

• Off-road freedom
  We only use open Land Cruisers equipped with exclusive off-road permits, which in some places allows us to track animals off official roads.

Accommodation and atmosphere

We are accommodated in an isolated and intimate campsite in the park, on the banks of the river, which will be reserved exclusively for our group during our stay.

The concept of the stay is based on togetherness, after the safari rides we gather around the campfire, with a joint dinner, where we recount and summarize the experiences of that day.

• 7 day and 3 night safaris in the Laikipia region

• 4 Day Safaris in Samburu Reserve

HEALTH SITUATION:
Yellow fever vaccination is not necessary if you are coming from Europe. Only bottled water is used for drinking.

FOOD:
The food we eat is mostly adapted to European cuisine. A large selection of delicious dishes awaits us, which includes a variety of soups, potash, main courses as well as desserts. There are, of course, options for vegans and vegetarians.

CLOTHING:
We advise you to wear clothes in shades of green, brown and beige. Bring a pair of sweatshirts, sweatpants or something like that, because the mornings and winds can be a little more pleasant. Avoid blue and black clothing as it attracts insects.

The currency in circulation is the Kenyan Shilling.

INTERNET:
Mobile telephony in Kenya supports roaming for SIM cards from Serbia. Domestic SIM cards can be easily obtained with a passport when shopping. You can also buy an eSIM. It is recommended that you have adapters for sockets, as it uses an input similar to the one in the UK, with three flat connectors.
