NAMIBIA – A Journey Beyond the Ordinary
In a completely untouched country, a different kind of adventure awaits you. We don’t go to commercial places, but explore wild landscapes together. We will camp among elephants and rhinos, sleep in the most beautiful lodges in Namibia and experience the planet from a different angle. Out of a total of 14 nights, we will spend 7 in premium lodges, and 6 in authentic campsites. Our personal chef will prepare meals as desired every night of the camp.
This tour is not for everyone, it is intense, challenging and with a lot of long rides. We have an incredible 3000 km of different types of terrain ahead of us. We will travel in a convoy of 3 to 5 vehicles, and there will be only 4 passengers in each of the jeeps. Each jeep has a fridge, table and chairs, all camping accessories, a tent on the roof and bed linen that is comfortable and comfortable. If you want, you can drive the car with your own team.
We have provided all daily tickets for national parks, including all fees for optional excursions as well as accompanying costs (food, water, transport).
We really tried to cover almost all the beauties of Namibia on the route we chose. Each day is thought out and planned in detail.
“The Land God Made in Anger” is another name for Namibia. It is the only country in the world where about 350 elephants and about 35 lions have been adapted to life in the desert. 40% of the world’s cheetah population roams freely in this country.
Etosha is the most famous national park in Namibia. A feature of this park is that around the waterhole you can see more than 5 different species of animals at the same time.
Etoshi is home to a large number of rhinos, elephants are almost white in color, and lions are of a different build than in other parts of Africa.
We will visit the largest seal colony, see Namibia’s national animal, the oryx, and camp inside the wildlife territory. This trip is not just a safari, Namibia is a land of contrasts and unreal landscapes, wild, vast and untouched.
Step into the wilderness with Matimbo and witness nature at its best.

Day 3 - 22.11. - Sossusvlei & Elim Dune
After breakfast, we leave for Sossusvlei.
A 5-hour self-drive ride with stops along the way in the Kalahari Desert. We arrive in the afternoon and visit Elim dune where we camp inside the Namib-Naukluft National Park, the oldest desert in the world.
Blending in perfectly with the surrounding desert environment within the gates of the National Park, our Sesriem campsite is ideal for adventurous travelers. Each campsite has a bathroom, kitchen and electricity. We will have full access to the shop, bar, restaurant and swimming pool in Sesriem.
Sesriem Canyon, a deep abyss carved by water through the rocks, is a striking natural formation that is best explored on foot. Stone walls rise steeply on both sides of the canyon, while its cliffs house birds.
After the day’s activities and return to the camp, where our host Chris prepares dinner for us in a local way. We spend the rest of the evening hanging out around the fire.

Day 4 - 23.11. - Deadvlei & Big Daddy Dune → Swakopmund
We get up early, pack our tents and head to Deadvlei.
We climb one of the largest sand dunes in the world, Big Daddy. It’s a tough hike that we go on before sunrise.
Then we descend to Deadvley, a place that was once an oasis filled with acacia and fed by a river that suddenly changed course, leaving the soil to dry along with the trees that grew here. The climatic conditions were so dry that the trees never crumbled, instead, they were completely drained of moisture, and today, 900 years later, surrounded by the red-pink dunes of the Namib Desert, they create a surreal spectacle, which is the dream of every tourist, and especially photographer.
In the early afternoon we head to Swakopmund (5 hours drive) and arrive at the hotel.

Then we visit the Skeleton Coast, a place where many shipwrecks are located. Due to the specific climate, the wind here carries desert sand to the sea, which has been an insurmountable obstacle for many ships.
After that, we continue to Spitzkoppe.
Spitzkoppe is a mountain oasis in the Namib Desert, and the campsites here are nestled amidst huge rocks and secret caverns, with Namibia’s majestic “Matterhorn” as a backdrop. The campsite is an excellent base for travelers who want to enjoy outdoor activities.

It’s time for something completely different.
Accompanied by a guide, we go to wild camping in the Damaraland region.
We will set up our private camp in the valley of the Hoanib River.
Here, on our self-drive safari, we will search for rhinos adapted to life in the desert. There is also a small population of lions here, and with a lot of luck we can meet them as well.
There used to be about 450 of them, but today, mostly due to trophy hunting and conflicts between animals and people living on the outskirts of the park, there are only 30-35 left.
We will have 3 meals a day, make specialties, spend starry nights by the fire and drive through the pristine landscapes of Namibia in search of rare animals adapted to life in the desert.

Day 9 - 28.11. - Wild Camping & Safari
We start the day with a morning adventure through the dry bed of the Hoanib River, one of the most isolated areas of northwestern Namibia. During this ride, we are looking for rare and fascinating desert-adapted lions, one of the last remaining specimens of this endangered species. In addition to lions, there is also the possibility of seeing desert elephants, giraffes, different species of antelope, as well as the recognizable oryx, the national animal of Namibia.
After an exciting morning quest, we will pause for lunch at a carefully chosen location in nature, where our local guide, Chris, will prepare a meal just for us.
The rest of the day will be followed by another drive through this region, after which we will return to our private camp where peace, silence of the desert and a pleasant rest after a day filled with exploration await us.

We will rest in the heart of Namibia’s Damaraland region, on the Grootberg Plateau, which displays stunning landscapes with deep canyons.
During the ride along the serpentines, we will meet the Himba people, known for their centuries-old cattle breeding. Encounters along the aisle may include the purchase of handmade jewelry while supporting the community through donations.

Day 11 - 30.11. - Etosha National Park & Afternoon Safari
We got up early and headed to Etosha National Park.
This park is the largest and most famous nature reserve in Namibia, and one of the most important in all of Africa. It covers an area of almost 22,300 km² and is completely fenced off to protect animals.
Within the park there is also a huge salt pan (Etosha Pan) – a former lake, which today is a 5,000 km² large salt flat, formed by the drying up of the inner delta of the Kunena River about 2 million years ago.
We checked in at the Okauquejo camp, where we stayed for two nights.
It is the largest and most famous campground in the park. In its center is the famous Waterhole – an artificial pond that allows animals to survive in harsh conditions. Watching the animals come to the watering hole, especially at night, is an unforgettable experience.
