It is home to more than 120,000 elephants, more than anywhere else in the world. This is one of the few places where you can see a leopard, a wild dog, a hyena and a lion in one night. The documentary Savage Kingdom was filmed here, and Sekekama the lion became one of the biggest stars in the wilderness. The local currency is pula, which means &#8220;rain&#8221;, in a country where rain means life.  <\/p><p data-start=\"966\" data-end=\"1224\">Botswana has perhaps <strong>the most authentic safari system in the world, <\/strong>but there are no paved roads through parks. <strong>You drive through sand, mud and water<\/strong>, cross rickety wooden bridges, <strong>camp in the middle of nowhere<\/strong>, all with permits and rules that preserve nature.<\/p><h3 data-start=\"1231\" data-end=\"1253\"><strong>Okavango Delta<\/strong><\/h3><p data-start=\"1255\" data-end=\"1460\">The Okavango Delta is one <strong>of the largest inland deltas in the world<\/strong>, a place where the river disappears into the sand. Here you can sail wet boats through the reeds, with hippos, elephants and predators, all without the noise of the engines. <\/p><h3 data-start=\"1467\" data-end=\"1491\"><strong>Khwai Concession<\/strong><\/h3><p data-start=\"1493\" data-end=\"1775\">Khwai Concession is a community-run area where <strong>off-road and night safaris<\/strong> are allowed. With more than 10,000 square kilometers, this is the second largest national park in Botswana. Composed of rich ecosystems and pristine landscapes, Chobe offers one <strong>of the highest concentrations of wildlife<\/strong> on the African continent.   Divided into four distinct ecological systems, savanna plains, river, swamp, and bushes, Chobe National Park is extremely diverse. A permanent source of water is the Chobe River, which is located in the northeast of the park and is a center of wildlife activity.
